RE: Cancellation of Mobo Group Company Picnic Scheduled for Saturday the 21st March.
We regret to advise the Mobo Group Company Picnic, rescheduled from last December due to weather, to be held this coming Saturday the 21stof March is cancelled.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but trust this decision is recognised as both appropriate and responsible given the current situation of Coronavirus (COVID-19) affecting many countries around the world.
Consistent with our Mobo Group ICARE values, we will do all that we are able to do, to minimise any potential impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the Mobo Group community.
All of us at Mobo Group have a responsibility to take all proper care and necessary steps to guard against spreading the virus.
Mobo Group management continue to monitor advice from the Australian and South Australian State Government, the World Health Organisation (WHO), and SA Health in determining the decisions and actions we should take in this regard.
Any member of the Mobo Group community including; families, supported employees, carers, jobseekers, staff, service providers, customers and suppliers are encouraged to raise any questions or concerns surrounding COVID-19 with management as soon as these arise.
Across all Mobo Group operations we will be reinforcing to all employees as we always do, the need to exercise good practices of hygiene. This message will be receiving greater and more frequent emphasis during this period.
Further initiatives to help guard against COVID-19 impacting Mobo Group are being advised to target audiences under separate communications across the business.
We will be referring to and referencing the following websites with regard the decisions we take and the information we share. We encourage the broader Mobo Group community to stay informed with reference to these sources.
