I write to reassure our community that Mobo Group is continuing to take a cautious and responsible approach to protecting the health and well-being of all employees with respect to COVID-19 and the Influenza (Flu).

Our team continues to closely monitor information concerning COVID-19 from SA Health and is responding accordingly to all recommendations. In addition to our established COVID Management Plan and vaccination policy we offered and provided the Flu vaccination to all Mobo Group employees who chose to receive this.

The South Australian State Government subsequently made the 2022 flu vaccine freely available to all South Australians aged between 5 and 64 years until the 31st of July 2022 via GPs or pharmacies and council clinics. Employees who wish to be vaccinated against the flu are encouraged to take advantage of the free offer while it remains available.

We are very mindful of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases reported here in SA. We are all reminded to remain vigilant in our attention to the COVID Safe practices to which we have become accustomed. The work of all employees throughout the pandemic has been amazing in keeping us all safe, and I have no doubt your discipline softened the impact that COVID-19 has had on Mobo Group.

We know we cannot be complacent. The wearing of masks continues to be encouraged in situations where safe distancing cannot be observed. Management will continue to review the organisation COVID Management Plan on a regular basis and will communicate through site managers all updates which change any site or organisation wide practice in the interest of all our safety and wellbeing.

Mobo Group vaccination policy implemented in the interest of all employees remains in place and unchanged.

The Australian and State Governments are continuing to provide the public with much communication, information and recommendations regarding further booster vaccinations and the availability of anti-viral medications.

Mobo Group is not altering its policy at this time and will continue to monitor the situation keeping all employees informed through the various forms of communication that must reach all employees across all twelve sites.

The current rise in COVID cases is an important reminder that Mobo Group employees must stay vigilant and maintain strict COVID-19 protocols including the wearing of masks, hygiene and social distancing in the appropriate workplace settings.

Across Mobo Group, because of your good effort we have been extremely fortunate to not be adversely impacted by COVID-19 infections to employees. We want this good fortune to continue.
