Hi Everyone,
RE – COVID-19 ISOLATION PERIOD CHANGE
The Federal Government has announced changes to COVID isolation requirements which come into effect from Friday, the 9th of September.
People who test positive for COVID-19 in Australia, now need to isolate for five (5) days instead of seven (7) days.
The reduced period is only applicable if you do not have any symptoms after five (5) days. If you are still experiencing symptoms, you must continue to isolate until you are no longer symptomatic.
The exception to this change is for high-risk tier 1 settings such as disability supported accommodation, which does not include Mobo Group activities. NDIS participants receiving employment supports may be residing in tier 1 accommodation settings, in which case you will be required to adhere to 7 days isolation.
