Meet Samantha…

Samantha first came to Mobo Group in 2018, looking for assistance in finding employment. Mobo Group Berri staff worked with Samantha to improve her confidence and her initiative to take part in training and developing new skills.

Mobo Group were able to then connect Samantha to The Australian Landscape Trust (Calperum Station) through the “Step Up to Employment” program. Upon completion of the program Samantha was able to gain employment with the station, and over a period of time her duties were increased and she is now employed on a full-time contact.

Manager of Australian Landscape Trust (Calperum Station ), Julie Robertson, highlights that Sam is a wonderful role model to others and adds much value to the Calperum team with her exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.

Since finding open employment with Calperum Station, Samantha actively aims to improve her skill base at every available opportunity and works in areas such as the native plant nursery, administration, managing the Calperum vehicle fleet and machinery maintenance; as well as undertaking training programs to improve her computing skills.
