"Mobo Group’s Elizabeth Salvage and Save has been in a valuable partnership with the North Adelaide Waste Management Authority (NAWMA) for over a decade."

Through the partnership, Mobo delivers the Green Organics Bins on behalf of NAWMA to communities in the Salisbury, Playford and Gawler council regions.

“This relationship creates valuable mutual opportunities and benefits for both Mobo and NAWMA.”, said Mobo Group’s Acting CEO Sam Scammell.

The beneficial partnership between the two entities has remained strong since its inception, with a willingness to mutually evolve and share resources.

“At Mobo, as an organisation enabling people living with disability to be the best they can be, we are demonstrating our ability to evolve with the times, continually looking to employ more people, as well as upgrading our vehicles to deliver bins more efficiently.”

“Mobo delivers up to 160-170 NAWMA bins each week, servicing our communities with the resources needed to create a sustainable environment.”

Any goods collected by NAWMA at the Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre that are in good condition and suitable for reuse are then donated to our Mobo Salvage and Save site at Elizabeth for repurposing and resale. This is part of the organisations’ shared objective of reducing the volume of waste and unwanted goods going into landfill.
