Say hello to Beanna!

Beanna has had great success in her job seeking journey, not only finding meaningful employment as a steppingstone towards achieving her dreams but has also made the best of the opportunities she’s worked hard for, even while she’s working towards different and better outcomes in the future!

Beanna joined Mobo Group as an early school leaver, living with learning difficulties, having limited capacity for employment, as well as transportation difficulties due to not having her driver’s license.
At Mobo Group, we worked with Beanna, supporting her to discover what she wants to achieve in employment, with that we helped her to commence studies at TAFE so that she can begin her journey to achieve her dream.

In the meantime, Mobo supported her to gain her driver’s license, boosting her independence, we were able to get Beanna enrolled in driving courses, and handled the financial requirements for her to attend her driving test. On top of that, we supported Beanna to find meaningful employment opportunities while she completes her studies. This role came in the form of working at a local fast-food restaurant. But Beanna’s story isn’t just that she’s making huge progress in her journey to becoming the best she can be, it’s what she’s achieved since joining the workforce.

While at work, Beanna has always been willing to help, even going so far as picking up extra shifts and taking on managerial tasks when she sees the need to (without any formal training). As a result of her dedication, Beanna has been recognised by her managers for her incredible efforts at work and was awarded Employee of the Month!

With support from Mobo, Beanna has been making incredible strives towards being the very best she can be! With her studying and part time employment, Beanna is reaching well above her initial benchmark of 8 hours per week!

Beanna’s determination to make the best of everything as she works to accomplish her dreams in employment is remarkable. At Mobo we’re able to provide support to help her accomplish her dreams, but ultimately it is Beanna’s motivation, positive attitude and determination that make her story truly incredible!
