Working towards a life worth achieving.
At Mobo, we began work with Christopher to help him to make the progress he needed to manage his alcohol and drug addictions and start living the life he wants. Through Mobo's assistance, Christopher joined and participated in the Empathy not Sympathy program with a handful of other clients of Mobo Group who were experiencing similar struggles.
Christopher hadn’t had the easiest go when it comes to life. From dealing with unhealthy drug and alcohol use, to having low motivation, issues with money management and a lack of respect for himself, Christopher knew he was in serious need of help to get life back on a path that he could be proud of.
Over only four days of participation in the Men Taking Control Program, Christopher's outlook on life and his motivation to make the best life possible for himself grew exponentially, since then Christopher has decided that he is ready to pursue meaningful employment in the community!
Christopher has come so far since joining Mobo Group, and while there is still some work to do to find the best employment opportunities for him, we can't wait to help him further in his employment journey and support him as he builds up his life to what he now knows is not only possible, but worth achieving!
We'd like to wish Christopher the very best of luck in his ongoing employment journey, and hope you are as proud as we are of how far Christopher has come!
